had a great time at the rodeo bar last nite. met some old friends, made some new ones. rosie was more subdued this year, but she said she's switched from drinking tequila to red wine so it took her a little longer to loosen up but she was great. she did ask for something "golden to drink" towards the end of the show and li and i went crazy trying to flag down the waitress - "give the damn woman her drink!"
some of the band is from austin, so i gave em the usual 3rd degree -but everybody always says good things about austin...got to sit with rosie for a bit at the end of the nite. she liked my dress and i asked about that beautiful sea foam green guitar she had last yr. just drunk chick stuff...


finally, things are firming up here to leave nyc on the 9th of september, can't hardly wait.


...aint no more from the liquor store gotta make that run or do the deadman shake-da-shake.
