Chuckie, was born in Brixton, in 1972.

He was brought up listening to the mighty Brixton sounds of the early eighties Sir Coxsone,Taurus and in particular King Tubbies. Chuckies older brother, Sergeant Six, became a selector with King Tubbies and Chuckie followed the Sound.

In 1986 at the Notting Hill Carnival, at the age of 14, Chuckie picked up the mike for the first time and sang.
His sweet singing voice was a huge hit and he became part of The Sound, performing at the legendary World Cup clash with Java in 1987.

Chuckie stayed with the sound till 1990 when he began his recording career. To date he has recorded 18 singles, having his biggest hit with the Larry Marshall cover I Admire You. His vocals can be heard on tracks with some of Reggaes top performers like Echo Minot, Joseph Cotton and Little Roy.
