Hi there

I've been a bit quiet recently - been spending a lot of time slacking, lounging about at home with my feet up, but am doing some gigs in the coming weeks so thought I'd write a note to alert you to the fact. I've been doing some recording - a new song, "hearts into diamonds" - which I'm playing at gigs; and have been doing the odd gig together with Guy, including Swanage festival (excellent fun, despite the fact the sun shined throughout the weekend) and the Newhampton Folk Club in Wolverhampton, which was as good as it always is. Coming up are two PA'ed type pub gigs, two folk clubs, and one at a country house. I won't post invitations to clog up your inboxes but communication on this page would be nice if you can make it.

The reason for the radio silence has been an illness which was correctly diagnosed in June but which has affected me on and off for years and chronically since January. Since the diagnosis and treatment started I've been feeling better and better and I hope that'll continue - in the meantime don't expect to see me stamping my feet at gigs....

Eric Mongrain is playing at the Stables on Monday, Rory McLeod is touring, and there's a nice open mic I've been going to at the Craufurd Arms in Wolverton every Monday.
