AMS celebrated the birthday of member Michael Pritchard last night at LIBATION.  The cast and crew of the new off broadway FELA show, was in full effect as they partied to resident DJ Ian Friday's Global Soul treats and guest DJ Simbad.
 

Hands were in the air, bodies were being flung, sweat from every crevice, painted bodies, a whole lot of women that completely overpopulate the men, dancers flying through the air, FELA's warm African vibe on the projection screen.  Simply amazing.... video clips of that later.


A very big ups again to Ian Friday!! 
Its difficult to have a successful party without any gimmicks.  LIBATION is simply built on love, respect, passion, faith, and goodwill.  The dancers are respected and given space for the many circles that pop, the artists are welcomed given a forum to express their soul via canvass, the music is conjured up from the soul of an experienced elder (Mr. Ian Friday) that has seen and done a lot for this community, and its only beginning.
