Damon is very proud to announce the birth of The Black Jacket Symphony. The BJS got it's start after a phone call with longtime Birmingham friend, artist, and musician J. Willoughby. The idea was to start a "more sophisticated musical venture" and create an opportunity to pay respect to some of the greatest classic rock albums of all time by performing them in their complete entirety. The first album the BJS decided to tackle is Abbey Road by The Beatles. After recruiting an impressive array of additional local talent, rehearsals began immediately. The debut performance by The Black Jacket Symphony will be at WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham, AL on Thursday night, May 28. Damon and J. plan to take this classic album presentation on the road as schedules allow, and are discussing tackling other timeless recordings such as The Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd, Hotel California by The Eagles, and Damn The Torpedoes by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. Stay tuned here for more updates and information about the BJS.

Great show last night bro. Nice. I'm looking forward to Zep on the 22nd. If you need a bass player for all that JPJ stuff, think about a brotha. Later
