I've been posting regularly about my work with the Toon Boom animation program on my new LeeToons! page, but I wanted to show off some more of my work here in case you haven't visited the other site.

I decided to try to animate some storm cloud backgrounds in a couple shots for the little animation project I'm developing.  Both of these clips use the multiplane came feature in Toon Boom Studio.  The first one is the home of some of my main characters.  The telepone wires move with the background clouds because this is just a test, and I didn't take the time to remove the wires from the source photo. I added a thunder sound for effect...



This second one I'm really proud of.  It's the most complex shot I've done so far.  Not only does it have two sounds - the traffic and the thunder, but I added an animated car, drawn very roughly because I still don't have a tablet, going down the street.  This is going to be the headquarters of my superhero group:



If you'll compare them to this first multiplane test I did, you can see how much I've improved:
