I will be posting a blog on the reunion in the next couple of days. Work is zapping my energy, but I wanted drop a quick note. For now, these are my thoughts. This year marked my 25th year since graduating from high school, but alas, there was no reunion. That's okay because this served as my reunion.

I want to congratulate Paul and Steve, and everyone that worked on this, for a job well done. History will shine bright on these guys for establishing true ATLANTA LANDMARKS. I, for one, think there should be a room in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame for OUR scene (all of us who supported these clubs).

Call me a softy, but I choked up telling someone about running into Kevin Elrod (you'll always be Jasper to me!) and Steve Mitchell. Seeing them, and so many others, you'd think it had only been a week since we last sat on the curb out front of the 'Plex. Time took our hair, wrinkled our skin, or added to our guts, but it could NEVER take the love, respect, and admiration we felt then - and carry with us today.
