Needless to say, since this is my first blog entry, I don't frequent this sight very often. Finally after enough prodding, I have posted 3 BRAND NEW songs that are part of my as of yet untitled new album. All of these tracks are making their debut despite having origins from demos dating back many years. I refined these demos to make them something new, so the final product is a blend of both new and old.

I have always been focused on 80's synth pop as a source for punchy dance music. When I was composing music back then, I saved the tracks in my archive of tapes, possibly to see light of day at some point. I decided that my new album would be that point. Here are some notes about what you are hearing. BTW, can anyone please tell me how to get the lyrics to appear properly?

"Flashpoint" has a decidedly Cocteau Twins influence, and is based originally on an instrumental piece I wrote for my Ireland Travelogue video.

"Carnival in Belize" has an ethnic drum track influenced by sessions that I have been engineering for the new Michelle Dunkirk album. Layered on top is a pop guitar riff, reminiscent of Lloyd Cole's sideman Neil Clark.

"Are We There Yet" went through a couple translations until I settled with this energized arrangement, charting a journey through a temporary relationship.

More to come!
