You might have asked yourselves, "What's up with that boring text .jpg at the top of Geisert 8's myspace?"

The answer is good news.  It is actually the title of our forthcoming LP.  We have just sent our final mixes over to the amazing Brad Blackwood of Euphonics Masters in Memphis.  He has worked with great bands like Against Me!, Thursday, and Lucero, and we are super pleased that he is willing to put his touch on our album as well.

With that in mind, we are also working on finalizing our album design, and hopefully, by the new year, we should have all the necessaries in place to press and deliver these 11 tracks to your ears for audio consumption.

In other news, Kevin has decided to go on tour this March/April solo, and subsequently, on the day he got his first confirmation date (in Oregon), gas shot up 18 cents!  So, let's all thank him for that.  lol.

Finally, we have started work on track 17 of our crazy double-album project.  People have suggested it's a concept record, but technically the concept was already penned out by the filmmakers, so I don't really know what to call it.  Track 16 is tentatively about how Mrs. O'Leary was a Chicagoan prophet who was told by a higher power to start a fire for the eventual well-being of the city...so, you call it what you want!

Come out to our show this Friday in Metamora, IL if you can!  It'll be a blast.
