Well, dangit. I went for it today and tried to get a hold of the guy who might have the power to hire us to open up the show for Lyle Lovett at the Wilma. I left a message on his machine, then hit the promoters website,...only to find they already have an opener. The Avett Brothers, I think they're called. Dang it all. I may just have to drop the 60 bucks after all. God Bless you, Lyle, but damn those Avett Brothers!
