Emo Kids Lack Poetic Techniques

I have recently come to the realization that what makes someone emo is because they don't know how to write. Whether it be writing poems or songs, they're just bad at it. They use what I like to call retarded emotion. They make it very clear that they have emotion, but unfortunately have no intelligent way to express it. Thus, retarded emotion. For example, in emo songs you might have heard common phrases like "cut my wrists cus I love her" or "my world is black cus she doesn't love me." While yes, these contain powerful ideas, like suicide and love, they are presented so plainly that it leaves no sense of mystery, consequently making it utterly bland and not worthy of anyone to read or listen. So any emo kid reading this, next time go ahead and throw in a metaphor, maybe a simile or too, hell, loosen up your pants a bit, people might think you're actually packing something. Then we might listen to your songs, read your poetry, and we might even go as far as to respect you a fellow human being. Until then sorry, but you aren't one. Oh and in terms of music, for god's sake practice your instrument once and a while, it'd be nice to hear some actual music come out of it.
