This has got to be both my favorite and most hated time of the year at the same time. It's my favorite because the temperature drops the leaves change ( Up North only) and we all begin to get ready for the big 3 holidays, 4 if you include Halloween which is my personal favorite one. I won't go into why I also hate this time of year because I have stated it before. Last night after the trick or treating was done and the rug rats were in bed I sat on the couch watching tv or was it watching me I can't remember but I took a sniff of the candy that my kids had collected. It was a total childhood memory. All the sents of those candies mixed together. Normally I don't eat sweets but decided to have a few, my stomach reminded me why I don't eat sweets anymore though. So the next big one is Thanksgiving which is normally forgotten by most major retailers. The one day of year when you can eat like a pig and no one looks at you funny. Then the Commercial one Santa Clause day. And don't fucking go telling me it's to honor the birth of Christ thats a load of shit. Nice sentiment but totaly false. Jesus wasn't born on december 25th for one and the actual meaning of the celebration of the winter what ever was turned to celebrate his birth. but that is another story. I just call it give me something I begged for all year day. And then New Years. The promise of a new year to fuck it all up just as bad as we did the year before. Ahhh good times good times. I totaly lost track of where i was going with this so guess I am outta here Happy Halloween.
