Got mine tomorrow, but might refuse it. Why?

3 jabs over 6 months, when they only know for sure that it will last 'over 5 years'. Bit vague.

Especially useless when you consider the cancer takes 20 years to start after getting the virus anyway. Wooh 5 more years, pah.

Not to mention it protects against 2 out of LOADS of forms of HPV. And almost all women get a form of the virus, and very few get the cancer.

You still need smears.

Most likely to get the disease if you're a slut, smoker, been pregnant 100000000 times, live up North. None of these apply to me.

Nasty side effects.

FEAR OF NEEDLES.

People who've had sex already may have already had a form of HPV.

The pill decreases likelihood of cervical cancer anyway.

So yeh, let's all freaking get vaccinated for something it probably won't protect us against. MORE people will die from cervical cancer because they'll think they won't have to be tested for it.

Plus, BOYS will still carry the disease. If it's one of the ones you're not protected from (30% of these 'leftovers' cause cervical cancer) YOU COULD STILL GET IT.

Even if it last forever, it's not really any good if you don't vaccinate guys.

ARGH.
