2008 has been a busy and very enriching year for me, musically speaking. I was able to tour three times. My first three tours ! and oh, it was intense and great and i learned so much.
** Touring in March with François Virot and Ok Vancouver Ok **

Ok was my first experience. Ah ah i discovered that i could freak out sound engineers of all kinds. I still have to apologize for that. We played shows in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany. Very sweet memories of Lyon, Bordeaux, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Hamburg !
Meeting Jeff (Ok Vancouver Ok) was a defining moment of the year. We recorded songs together, Jeff played all the shows with (drums, keyboard, trumpet). I learned so much from it.
I also had a great time banging on a guitar during François's shows. god it was so liberating, i want to learn the drums !

** Touring in August the US West Coast with Ok Vancouver Ok + Role Mach **

First time in Canada. Love at first sight ! Vancouver Vancouver, beautiful place. We toured 2 weeks. I enjoyed every bit of it. Olympia, Portland, Arcata, the red woods, the ocean, camping sites, 20-questions, knitting, busking. Role Mach is an amazing band, we had many members of the band coming along. Our last show was on Whidbey Island. We were invited by Eli Moore (Lake / K records) and we recorded one of my songs "Medication". It's definitely my best recording memory ever. Perfect place, perfect people. GR8-2000 also performed a special show for us that night. Great !

** Canadian tour with the Greenbelt Collective (oct/nov) **
I had been listening to Greenbelt for over a year before i finally met Jeff (Ok Vancouver Ok) who plays in it, then Besh, Dan, Jon, Robin, Carlie, Karina, Jared, Katie, etc etc ... am i forgetting people ? Greenbelt has so much energy and such great tunes. Playing with them as a temporary keyboard member was thrilling. Thanks to this tour, i was able to see more of Canada. Fond memories of Halifax, the Friendship Cove, Montreal, the Wintermitts, Winnipeg vegan café, maple syrup, Hamilton home, Special Noise, the cabin in the woods, power knitting, Charlottetown and PEI...
