Black Dynamite Hits the Big Screen!
Look out wannabe hustlers and minor league gangsters, the movie that’s badder than bad, tougher than tough, and harder than hard, will finally hit theaters this coming Friday, October 16. For you uninitiated suckers, we’re talking about the big screen debut of Black Dynamite! So mark your calendar, grab your date, or bring your crew; whatever you’ve got to do to get to opening night, because you don’t want to miss this blaxplotation epic. But before you purchase tickets from that pimply kid behind the box office, pre-order both the Black Dynamite official score andsoundtrack by clicking here.

This week’s giveaway comes to us courtesy of Secret Stash Records. Back in 1981, a group of Jamaican studio musicians came to New York City to play with then NYU music professor Jeremy Taylor. The sessions would result in an album known as A Reggae Interpretation of Kind of Blue. Serious collectors may be aware of a rough mix lo-fi cassette tape of this underground Miles Davis tribute. But now, for the first time EVER, an official mix of the album has been pressed on blue vinyl by Secret Stash. We’ve got three copies up for grabs. To enter to win your copy of A Reggae Interpretation of Kind of Blue, all you have to do is correctly answer the following:

Q: Sadly, the producer of this record passed away before a final mix-down was created. In what city did he die?
