There is no place like home.
I am almost done with the tour and now it is time to re-root myself somewhere.
I feel most at home in the forest. I think I will be doing a lot of camping/hiking this summer until I find a new place to live.
Where is home for you?
Love,
Amanda

I felt almost at home in different places. In a dodgy apartment in Milan. Or in a white house in the coutryside near Turin.

But I have to be honest with myself: home is in the (right) people.

Good luck.

d.
I feel at home in the great wilderness of Michigan's Upper Peninsula along Lake Superior when not another soul is in sight.
Home is anywhere the I find myself able to ponder the mystery of the world
This happens to be usually in nature's miracles
Denny's and the owl house(rachel's). I hope the rest of your tour treats you well, and you find peace of mind during your time off.

Sounds like a great plan! David and I are thinking of doing the same thing once we get the house sold. Just camping and hiking around until we find a place that just feels right. Maybe we can hike the woods together and wander into the forest and just build a huge tree-house community to spend our hours enjoying the beauty of nature and listening to all the wonderful songs that the forest offers us to hear! I'm really just wanting a simple cottage in the woods with a hammock and a cozy porch to sip my peppermint tea and lots of area for the kiddies to go off and explore... I think that is do-able! Miss you much....your almost here!!!
Home is my bedroom, my house- which is really my parent's. But it's the only place I ever really lived for a long period of time. No place can ever feel the same way. I love the location too... surrounded by woods, neighbors are close but not too close- and civilization is only 10 minutes away. Privacy yet the rest of the world when you need it. :)

I want to be back on the road! It is raining here and I have far too much space in my apt compared to the back of a van.
