generally tend to look for an evolving sound in melodic rock/AOR these
days, as few artists are still able to capture that "classic" sound and
keep it fresh. But in the case of this album, the BFT guys reach back
into Giuffria 1985 territory and deliver an essential album of glorious
AOR that reminds me of exactly why I love this genre and why nothing
else will ever come close when it's done well. This is done
exceptionally well and in a highly competitive year, was for me -
unbeatable! |
