Grant Hart has a new record and there is some information about it right here http://mvdb2b.com/search/item.php?SESSION_NO=DDDDEFRB&STOCK_NO=MVDA4911 I have been fortunate to call Grant my friend since about 1994 when he gave me all of his Rolling Rocks in the massive green room at the Limelight in NYC where we (Cher U.K.) were opening for him. We hit it off traipsing about Manhattan in the hour leading up to the show, looking at architecture and laughing at the over-blown, aggrandized pretentiousness all around us. Since then, I have tried my best to get Grant in front of audiences up and down I-35 playing his music and getting his visual art in front of sympaticos who might remember his significant, yet somewhat unheralded contribution to the American music vernacular. That's about to change drastically, in my opinion. Grant's new record drops October 6th and we are fortunate to have him return to the Davey's stage for this year's NVS on August 20th. Take advantage of this opportunity, music-lover peeps, because the road twists to the whim of the loosest stool known as the music industry and in this case, you're gonna want to say you were there before this bad ass record comes out!--Mike McCoy
