Hello Boys and Girls!
I apologize for my absence, I..ve had a bout with a nasty virus and now I..m in mourning for the Sox, a moment of silence, please....OK, that..s enough. There..s all kinds of good things happening but I can only tell you about a couple, I don..t want to jinx anything.
1st of all, I..d like to thank everyone for tuning into my web TV appearance on October 13 on the DemetriusLIVE show. I..ll be returning October 27th at 9am to perform live on air with my little brother Mr. K on percussion and backup vocals. We..ll be doing some acoustic versions of cuts from HS and maybe a surprise Halloween tune. You can watch at the link in the podcast enclosure.
2nd of all the IPO Tour 2008 rolls into New York City on the 4th of November, and myself and Radio Patrol go onstage at Kenny..s Castaways on the 5th at 8pm. WOO HOO!
Exactly 5 days later it..s an invasion of Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania Power Pop coming back to Kenny..s Castaways on the 10th. New York Power Pop Page Presents John Brodeur(of the Suggestions and Maggie Mayday), Jillian Rhys, Myracle Brah, Joey Salvia(ex-Montgomery Cliffs), Lost Honchos(country-powerpop mystery men), The Original Lineup of Starbelly, and Cliff Hillis and The Forward Thinkers celebrate the release of Cliff..s new CD "The Long Now". This extravaganza will be hosted by moi in my second career as a Wink Martindale wannabe. I..ll also be doing a couple of tunes in between the acts, so come out and show your love. There..s rampant rumours of a Kyf Brewer sighting that night, but it could just be a rumor I..ve started.
IPO comes to Boston later in the month and Radio Patrol and I go on at 8:30pm on Sunday the 23rd, reprising our triumphal NY appearance...ahem.
