+47 presents "Anne Marie Almedal - Live at Aladdin"
Concert film, Live recording and performance. Directed by Fred Arne Wergeland.
Date: October 12-13. Venue: Aladdin Kino, Kristiansand, Norway.

Over two days, open and closed to public performances - Anne Marie Almedal will be performing live with her band, filming and recording a selection of songs for her forthcoming album – that shall hopefully see the light of day, sometime early 2010.

We are happy to announce that the legendary bassist Danny Thompson will be joining Anne Marie Almedal for these exclusive acoustic performances.

For those in the know, Danny Thompson is considered to be the finest acoustic bass player the world has known, and has played on almost every seminal album that has had most inspirational influence on not only Anne Marie, but also several generations of musicians and left-field pop music lovers alike…
Nick Drake “Five Leaves Left”, John Martyn “Solid Air”, Pentangle “Basket of Light”, Kate Bush “The Dreaming”, Talk Talk” Spirit of Eden”, Everything But The Girl “Amplified Heart”. You are starting to get the picture!
This promises to be a wonderful occasion, with the magical Danny Thompson adding his timeless presence to the blissful songs of Anne Marie Almedal, in a live, intimate setting in her hometown and creative base.

Please note there is a very limited capacity of seats available in the cinema.
Tickets will be available on the night at Fønix Kino, Kristiansand - and also for delegates at the local "Filmdagene" seminar which is taking place in Kristiansand during this period.

Watch this space, for more info & news.
