Actually, I think 'rough patch' or 'bad luck' is to say the least. Friday morning we were supposed to be starting a two-month tour with The Fallacy from Calgary Alberta. On this tour, we were to meet up with several others bands as well including Amnesia Amnesia and Blind Witness.
We got the news from Brayden on Friday morning that he wasn't going to be continuing on with us. Unfortunately, the van and trailer we had planned to use for this tour belonged to Brayden, and we were out of luck...
We decided to play the first show in Campbellford as a 4-piece, travelling in my Mom's Honda Odyssey. On Saturday morning we all got up super early and travelled to Brampton to pick up a new van. We got it ready for the road all day Saturday and started teaching the songs to a friend of ours, Jordan Moffitt (Sawmill Valley / Liferuiner). Jordan will be filling in for us for the remainder of this tour, and we will be opening up auditions after we return from tour this July.
We're still doing this tour, and are still extremely excited to head out West!! Thank you to The Fallacy for letting us borrow some of their gear for this tour - without you this wouldn't be possible. And thanks to everyone for the kind words. Situations like this can become stressful, and nerve-racking, but I'm more than confident that we'll pull through!
