Hello fellow myspacers!
Here's a little update on your pals in AGES. After three and half years the upcoming AGES album is almost complete. The final mastered CD was sent off yesterday to groovehouse records for duplication. AGES would like to thank our dear friend Reuben for doing an excellent job mastering! Thanks Reubs. The artwork is being touched up and we hope to have a final sketch by the end of the week.
In other news......Matt McJunkins and AGES have parted ways. As many of you know Matt is a very talented and busy session player on the scene. With both the band and Matt's upcoming busy schedules it seems to be the best decision for the future. We wish Matt all the best and it was an honor to share the stage with him for a countless number of gigs. We have been auditioning bassists and we'll let you all know when we find the one. Also our good friend Colin Gailey has been gigging with us on lead guitar, replacing Reuben Cohen. For anyone who hasn't seen Colin play, you need to! Seriously the guy is known for his shredding guitar chops, and musicality! His talent and sound creates something beautiful like no other. It's as if he's playing a different instrument other than guitar. He's truly unique, and we feel honored to have him on board. Check him out, he's in our top friends. Our next gig will be at the Saddle Ranch in Universal City with our good friends The Calvary WED AUGUST 8TH! We play at 10:30pm ,and there is no cover! See you there.....
