So, it turns out that my surgeon FORGOT to put in the port when he did the mastectomy. Now I have to have a separate surgery to implant this thing so I can have chemo through it. Oterwise, my veins will be blown out and burned....they won't do the chemo that way. So, I'll have this procedure done on Monday, Nov. 5th. My chemo starts the next day...
