A month or so ago, there was the 3rd annual Raw Spirit Festival held in Sedona, AZ.  The spirit of the festival is to celebrate and educated about health and nutrition, specifically, through raw food nutrition.

What is Raw Food Nutrition?  Basically, it's eating foods as they are found in their natural state, RAW Baby!!! 

Eating mostly cooked foods is the root cause of nearly all diseases.  Enzymes are destroyed, phytonutrients are damanged, and carcinogens can result from heating plants and animals to high temperatures before eating.

You don't have to go all 100% raw to benefit from the raw food diet...  just be sensible about it...  include eating more vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds in their raw state and you'll be healthier for it.

The following YouTube playlist contains a series of videos of the lecture the David Wolfe gave about the role of Calcium in our bodies.  The information will probably shock most people that the calcium supplements that you buy in stores are probably some of the worst for you.    Very informative, insightful and even entertaining.

The 4-Step Decalcification Process

1.  Dissolve the calcium shell of the microbial clams using these four "solvents"
  1.  DMSO
  2.  MSM
  3.  EDTA - I.V. or rectal (suppository), not oral.  Combine with garlic.
