we have just been lucky enough to get a review of our new album "One Night" in the national rock music magazine Rock n' Reel. Here is a copy of the review:

Ionian are a young five-piece band from Cumbria bringing together the seemingly disparate strains of metal, prog and the kind of gothic-edged folk that All About Eve specialised in. Although there're still a few creases to iron out, One Night, their debut album, is certainly not short of imagination and a willingness to showcase their own individual talents. Consequently, a hard-driving rocker like Sometimes can stand alonside  an acoustic guitar and violin dominated piece like "I'm Not Afraid" and the ambitious atmospherics of Tonight (part 2), where frontwoman Sophie Wilson taked the oppurtunity to shine vocally.
