Just a quick update on all things in the Aileen Paron world.  After a much needed breather, I'm playing again with Anomie Belle for two shows this weekend in Seattle and Portland.  We're opening for Tricky!  That's right, that Tricky.  Pretty awesome.  We've added a new live drummer to the mix, and I'll be hanging behind my trusty Nord Electro for a few songs.  If you're in the area:  Doug Fir in Portland on Friday,  Showbox at the Market in Seattle on Saturday. 

In other news, I've been hard at work transitioning my music to a less piano-focused style, using more synths, organs and beats to create a new, lush sound while still being able to perform solo.  I AM the band.  I'll be debuting a collection of new material,  with a splash of the old at the Mix in Seattle on June 26th.   I also hope to have some demos up here in the next month or so.  Also at the Mix show will be my friends from the utterly fabulous band, Trespassers William.  I'm very happy to get to play a show with them.  If you haven't heard them, go check them out.
