How many times have you looked at your muffin top pouring over your J Brands and promised yourself that this was the week you were going to lose weight? Well, that was me, last year, every day…only the muffin top was the least of my worries. I promised myself it was time for a new site, time to step it up, yet the pile of orders on my desk and the creative daydreams inspiring new designs somehow seemed to override all other priorities and the old website lingered...just like your muffin top. At the start of 2009, we at jules smith couldn’t ignore the pungent scent of change in the air. We sucked in our guts, sifted through our files, shoved aside the daydreams, guzzled our skinny lattes, and followed in the footsteps of president Obama’s mantra. “Yes we can!” After several prayer calls, a million Indian rain dances and ritualistically facing east praising jah the new julessmithdesigns.com was immaculately conceived. Well, not quite immaculately, but it happened and we loves it…just loves it…
