Hello there, this is one for the Melbourne folks:

This time a year ago we'd just started a tour of Europe. Along for the ride was our good friend and great filmmaker Natalie van den Dungen. The result was two film clips and a 12 minute documentary/live film/Rocky IV type montage. Everything was done simply in a fairly guerrilla fashion, but the results are pleasing and capture what that first band tour over there was like.

So we decided that we'd actually have a screening of this stuff, just for the opportunity of seeing it on a big screen with nice sound, rather than it all being consigned to the internet and Rage at four in the morning.

This is going to occur this Thursday 15th October at Glitch Bar & Cinema in North Fitzroy. Glitch has an excellent small cinema out the back. This is all very short notice and should be a fairly casual night for a drink and some audio-visual infotainment. Consider this your personal invitation. We'll kick of at 7pm, with the 25 minute screening taking place at 7.30. If it turns out more people than we expect show up, we'll run it again at 8.30.

We also thought we might let the album play in it's entirety in the cinema between screenings, so those of you who want to can sit down with a couple of bottles of vodka and feast yours ears on its utter genius. This is going to be almost impossibly awkward for us, but luckily the Glitch front bar is well stocked and comfortable, so we'll hang out there.

Ps. Just a reminder that our Polyester Records instore performance is next Thursday 22nd, at 288 Flinders Lane in the City. It will be the only chance to see us before our launch shows at the end of November. It starts at 6pm, is all ages, and is FREE! Albums will also be available.
