hi kids,

this is my first blog. an a sad on at that. i just found out that classic pin up queen JEANNE CARMEN has passed away at 77.

i first met jeanne at the hollywood collectors show some years back. she was still a stunning lady. i had seen her in many of my fave b movies of my youth, and was thrilled that she was there. for some reason she took  shinning to me and we became friends. she told me many stories of the mob,being a trick shot golf pro,jfk (these were jaw dropping!),frankie and the rat pack and camping with errol flynn. i was like a kid hearing tales of me heros.

one of my fave stories about jeanne was the time she introduced me to rob zombie. i remember her saying. "james, meet mr. zombie" how cool is that.

she was a true pin-up queen. and a wonderful person. i have known a ton of pin ups of this day and age. but she was truly a CLASSIC of the art form.

hanging in my aprtment is an autographed photo of her from the MOSTER OF THE PIEDRAS BLANCAS. on it she wrote. to james with love JEANNE CARMEN. right back at you dear. you will be missed.
