First of all let me say how sorry I am for all the misspelled words, bad grammer and mistakes I will make on this blog. I have been on tour with The Pretty Things Peepshow for 2 weeks now and this is the real first time I have had to sit down and write to you all. But enought about that lets get to the goodies shall we.
I flew out of Seattle on Jan. 12th to New York to meet up with the rest of the PTP. (Pretty Tings Peepshow). It was a misty day as I started my adventure. After a lovely flight on Alaska Arilines I arrived in Newwark N.J. There I was meet by Bryce Graves. Founder of the Brothers Grimm Sideshow and his lovely friend Ganeeva. He pulled up in the RV that I would be calling home for the next 90 days. The first thing they did was to pop me a beer and make me a hamburger. Ahhh....Rockstar living.
Then it was off to Go GO Amy's parents house where I met up with her and my goood friend from Canada Bettina May. We had all toured in the past with each other so I knew I was working with pros. I must say it was quite good to see these 2 old friends agian. And to meet 2 new ones. But no time to party my friends we were up early the next morring to meet the 2 other ladies in the show from the Coney island side show. Heather Holiday the glass eater and sworad swallower and Angelica the fire eater.
I must admit I was a wee bit nervous about meeting these 2 great icons of side shows. Would they be divas? Would they not like me and cut me up with sharp objects and then cook me with flames from the mouth. Could this be the end of poor Vincent Drambuie???????? Well as you can guess my fears were put aside in a flash. They borth were the most charming and wonerful people you could ask to meet.
I was kind of like the first day of summer camp. Everybody getting to know each other. I could tell the team was going to jell. And i hadn't even seen Heathers or Angelica's acts yet. But I would that night as we drove down the Eastern Seabord to a city I alwasy wanted to vist. Baltimore.
You ask yourself why in God's name do you want to go to Baltimore for fuck sakes? Well one reason tops that. It is the home of one of my favorite film makers Trash King John Waters. The mastermind of such classics Pink Flammingos and Female Trouble.
We pull up to a dark looking club about 10 minutes from downtow called The Otto Bar. We load in our sets and wardrobes and hope that people come out to see us that night. Our fears were unjusted. The club was packed and the crowd wen't bonckos for the show.
Things were starting off on the right foot. It seemed like smooth sailing for the rest of the tour. But a dark cloud of gloom was looming not far off!!!!!!!!
Next blog..FIRE...PLANE CRASHES..AND FROZEN TOLIETS!!!!!!!!
Thanks for checking out my first tour blog. I will try to get more up very soon. xoxo Vincent Drambuie

Thats about the best reason for going to Baltimore that anybody could give. I've been wanting to go just to wait outside John Water's apartment building to say, "Hi, since I've said that my life is complete." The only other filmmakers I'd go out of my way to meet would be Ed Wood, H.G. Lewis, and William Castle. Unfortunately I can't meet two out of the three now.
