It took some perseverence, but at last I have a show at one of the better music venues in Minneapolis. I had originally intended it as a CD release party, but some unforseen circumstances have slowed everything down a few months. So, although none of the celebes will be there, it still promises to be a fun evening.

David Beckey is a long time friend and the mind behind Autumn leaves, one of my favorite local bands. Anyone who is familiar with my pashon for British folk and the music of the Paisley Underground will know that I'm not just saying that. Autumn Leaves seems to be the only local act that enjoys these obscure sounds as much as I do. I've never actually seen Mr. Beckey perform solo myself. So, the evening will be a treat for me as well.

Also, my good friend Eric Anderson is going to be playing a short set around nine, to warm things up. He's one of the most promising local folkeys around. Come down and check him out.


I've looked forward to the opportunity to play with a full band at a major venue for a long long time. I don't want to set the bar too high, but it's still pretty exciting.
