Go and see the new Joy Division Film 'CONTROL', the biopic about the Bands frontman Ian Curtis is based on the Book, 'Touching From A Distance' written by Ian's widow Deborah.
Apart from showing the true story of the Bands formation and duration, it also exposes Ian's mammoth battle with Epilepsy and the side effects of the medication he was taking in an attempt to control his seizures, as well as the effects and dilema's inflicked on the Band, Family and friends.
All credit due to director Anton Corbijn for not "dumbing down" the impact of Epilepsy on Ian Curtis and those around him.
A very important Film !
Do yourself a favour and "educate" yourself and see the Film, and get the real story, if you can't get to a cinema the DVD is released in early 2008.
