Alfafar is a band whose particular alchemy is based on the harmony between three brothers who compose, sing and play together.

In 2000 the three composed a first repertoire of about twenty songs that they will sing the following year on local stages.

At the start of 2002 they decide to take part in a modern music springboard called "Les nuits blanches" which treats the winner to a three day recording studio. After three selections, they win the contest and get back to rehearsing for the recording and in 2002, Alfafar record a four titles CD called "Night & day".

In 2003 the band performs in adjoining counties.

In collaboration with the contemporary dance company "Divergences" and the back-up of the Cahors town theatre, they prepare a plan to mix contemporary dancing with rock music.

On November the eight 2003, the project is shown at the "Docks" in Cahors during an opening night.

From November 2003 to June 2004, Alfafar is billed at the Docks in Cahors with the company D.

During this creative period the band keeps on playing on stage, complete the show "In2U" with the dancers and records a three titles CD , "Hot shock", inspired by this collaboration.

It also plays in the first part of the show of the French rock band "A.S Dragon".

In 2005, Alfafar stops performing live for six months, time during which they will, with the dancers, show the play "In2U" in Cahors, Marminiac, Annecy, Mazères sur Salat,…

Nevertheless, In August, Alfafar makes a performance which attracts a lot of attention, performance in tribute to Pedro Almodovar during a cinema festival in Gindou in Lot.

In December 2005, Alfafar records a new seven titles self produced CD entitled

"Le ciel bleu"

In 2006, Alfafar, among other performances, plays in the first part of the show of the Belgian band "Venus" and of the American one "Gogogo Airheart".

They also show "In2U" again three times in Toulouse and once in Figeac.

Moreover the manager of Paris communication firm, "Befreetv", offers to cooperate with the band to make it know to record companies: press-kit, thinking about the band identity, self-interview, listening appointment, …

At some record companies request, "Befreetv" organizes three running concerts from 3 to 5 October in Paris, at the Zèbre in Belleville, so they can see the band perform live in partnership with VFM radio and the magazine Rock&folk.

In October : "Ô les choeurs" festival in Tulle.

In November : "Friends of P" nights at "Le cri de la mouette" in Toulouse.

In December : "The FMR Radio sessions of their 25 years old" in Toulouse.

In Mars : "Le chainon manquant" Festival in Figeac.

In April : "La semaine du Rock" Festival in Toulouse.

In May : "A gig for Kids" in Soulomes.
