GRAVITY ENTERTAIN ARTROCKER MAGAZINE….FOR 24
HOURS!!!!!!

....
....We were honored to play host to
Richard Davis from Artrocker Magazine ....UK.... last week on Thursday, who came to
meet us and learn more about Bulgarian music, culture and life. The magazine is
a great way for bands to promote themselves, and we felt very excited to have
Richard there with us for a full on 24 hours and to squeeze as much history,
music and drinks into one day as humanly possible.....
We checked in at the lovely Hotel
Arean Di Serdica, with its ancient Serdican / Roman history and its grand,
ancient Amphitheatre, which is beautifully located at the ground floor of the
hotel. History and cultural knowledge at our doorstep is amazing. ....An excited and eager Richard was
whisked off by us to the famous Alexandra Nevsky Cathedral which kept Richard
very happy. After walking around and soaking up the sights, and also visiting
the Crypt (full of 16th and 17th century artworks) we
decided to go walking.....
.. ..
After showing our new friend
around, we decided to get down to business…and took Richard to our Studio, and
played him some exclusive demos of our new tracks, with Richard looking very excited and enjoying his personal, private
show! We also played three tracks live, which sounded amazing and impressed our
new English Ally. When we arrived we presented him with his own bottle of Rakia,
to get him started!
....

.. ..
After filling our heads with
music, culture and history, we also wanted to show Richard the other thing we
are proud of…our perfect bars and clubs!
................
First stop we took him to Poison to watch an act and
have a beer and tequila’s, and then felt very hungry. We then made our way to
‘Under The Lindon Trees’, and we ordered nearly half the meals from the menu if
I only knew you’ll ask me what we ordered I’d steal one J We offered
Richard some authentic and local foods, plus our favourite and national drink
Rakia (which seemed to go down extremely well!) and we got stuck into a
bottle of Plum Raikia..... We’d heard that the English
Journalists love a drink and Richard lived up to this reputation, amazingly
drinking his way through Plum Rakija, red wine, beer, more Rakia, JD & Coke
and more beer.

.. ..

After, we went to our favourite rock club ‘Fans’ to
help dance it off to a live act, but obviously, we drank more, offering Richard
a real flavour of Bulgarian life. Richard showed me a sms he was writing to his
Bulgarian room mates in ....London....
and it was something like “ you won’t believe but I’m at a rock bar listening
to a heavy metal band and I’m enjoying it’ !!!!!!! We then moved onto our
glamorous club ‘Mascara’, where the music sounded like a lousy radio station,
but by that point we were all too drunk to care. Things got hazy and we partied
the night away at our favourite nightclub
“chervillo” ,which in English means lipstick, where we got completely and totally
wasted...........and Richard took a liking to James Bond style Vodka
Martini’s….shaken not stirred, of course!
....
....It seemed that our friend from
Artrocker enjoyed himself, almost as much as we did showing him about our home
city. Hope the hangover wasn’t too bad, Richard! Thanks for coming, the
experience was perfect!
