"Ok, it's official. The sound cool at the moment is the current end undeground Noise-Rock. So, friends, followers of trends, to dust off those old cd's, Cherubs, Cows, Loudspeaker, Hammerhead and anything bearing the stamp of Amphetamine Reptile and Touch & Go. The psychotic patient and more cost-nineties claiming revenge and I will not deny it. Before you lift the finger, I tell them that Hex Machine has been running for several years wallowing in the filth of dissonant riffs, distorted voices and rhythms locked. Speaking of rhythm, it's also worth clarifying that the mass responsible for drums this quartet is nothing less than the versatile Dave Witte, a man who not only has in its curriculum as original and influential bands like Human Remains, Discordance Axis, Phantomsmaher (with the great James Plotkin), Burnt By The Sun or Exit 13, but gave up the luxury of giving a fresh new proposals so limited as those of Municipal Waste and Birds Of Prey. Well yes, I admit, the guy is one of my favorite drummers, and the fact that further involvement in projects as good as this one does more to keep staff in the pedestal. As I said before, this is Noise-Rock of pure stock. With everything that a group must have these characteristics (that sound Stevealbinesco these blunt and angular riffs, these low and dirty pronounced, these solos empapapados feedback desperate these voices, these taladrantes dissonance, that catchy groove epileptic and that feeling suffocating urban tiñéndolo all dementia), while the degree of personality needed to avoid falling into the second line of the genre. How to put in a situation, here we are sweating density Unsane, the degenerated flirting with jazz for The Jesus Lizard, the abuses of Big Black guitar, psychedelia cooked the Butthole Surfers, the Blues and deformed Killdozer of pus, near the melodic Steel Pole Bath Tub, Shellac rhythm floating up and some violence almost martial Zeni Geva. All this presented in round nine songs which coexists with the tension and catharsis with schizophrenia hook rocker. Of course, not all links can disguise that this world is essentially Rock with the balls well placed, with the veins throbbing and ironic grin as prelude to the more raw savagery. Does not matter even if it is a revival of those golden years or not so good songs and a degree of ingenuity and energy are always needed." --Zanna's Music (Spain)
