We were supposed to play at Bottom of the Hill on the 5th of November with Easter Youth and Shinobu, but we ran into a snag: Steven Heet was bitten on the knee by a fricken centipede! His knee swelled up and he couldn't bend it, so we had to cancel. Necrotizing Fasciitis? Bummer. This is the second time Heet has been bitten by one of these creepy crawlies. He told us about how it felt the first time: Imagine someone bending out the metal part of a bic lighter to make two little prongs. Then they heat up the prongs for a couple of minutes and ram them into your skin. YOW! Anyhow, Heet is moving here in December. We'll be making up our Bottom of the Hill show on December 29th, playing with Judgment Day and Brilliant Red Lights. Once Heet is back behind the drums we'll be a lot more active. We started writing new material when he was here last.
Our latest album "Arriving Alive" hits stores November 7th. This might not mean anything to you if you've already mail-ordered it or picked up a copy at a show, but it's pretty exciting for us. Now we can go into record stores and put our CD in the front of the row or in the "featured artist" area.
