New tour dates have been posted!  Please come out and see us at one of these shows, they will be our last for some good time.  All shows will be with Richard Buckner.  We're opening, and performing alongside this songwriting legend!  Some of the most beautiful, evolved music any of us have ever performed . . .

We're all taking time between album cycles - writing, recording, touring - to relocate ourselves in places like Seattle, Boston, and New York.  No, the band is not breaking up.  Far from it.  We're simply moving around a bit to better pursue other endeavors.  I'll post again with an update when I know more about each band member's plans.

Six Parts Seven

 
I wish, hard...but 6P7 is still sleeping, hibernating a year away, trying to close some of the physical distance between band members.

In June, I moved to Seattle, WA, to work at Suicide Squeeze. And all the core players in the band are locked into something else, too: Tim Gerak is currently building a magical recording studio in his Akron, Ohio, home; Mike Tolan is studying abroad - enrolled as an NYU grad - in Barcelona, Spain; my brother, Jay, is in Cleveland, still working and ruling as a bike messenger and competitive racer.

We've all got our worlds aside from the music we make together - occasionally they demand to be explored.

The best of luck with everything in 2009! We hope that you guys can meet in one place(hopefully close to my house) and play music together. Keep Visalia, CA in mind. We saw you guys play at The Bottom Of The Hill, S.F. in 2003 and to this day it is one of the best shows I've been to! I was a little bummed that you guys only played a 30 min. set, but I still was lucky enough to catch a live performance. I even have it on video to treasure hopefully forever or at least until I die or the tape breaks. Much Love.
