I thought your new Apparatjik track has a city sound in a part of it. Real good track.

This one really evokes the city of London... all glass and metal. I love the "human soil, architectural petal" lines. I've always found that cities do indeed "grind us down," too..... but that's just me. ....Thanks for the thought provoking stuff on this fine Monday morning, Mags!

Which city? London did grind you down, but that was a long time ago. ....I like the part about memory being reconstructive - how we can change the past by consciously or unconsciously changing our memories of it. Like in the song "White Canvas": "You cannot erase them, words that were said, just paint them over, inside of your head." That song means a lot to me and, since I use it in a playlist as part of my daily yoga, I listen to it every day! .... "Dissolving the now" - I do that all the time when I daydream.

Very clever!! This and 'As Neutron' - I guess there is some sort of word-reaction going on here - but as I don't know the first thing about physics (we spent more time watching 'red dwarf' in our physics lessons than learning) that is as far as I can take it - however my clever brain has detected that there is a reduction in words to create a new poem! Anyway you deserve the nobel prize for word-physics!!! Very good! :)

very often it appears to me as if architecture and poetry are different means of expression of the same thing, (Ok not always, sometimes architecture can be awesomely bad and disturbing, but on the other hand poetry too ;-)), as its best it's ....hmm.....artitecture ?.. perhaps that's one of the reasons why you love or loathe a city.....speaking of .... still can't find "universion" in one of my highly appreciated online dictionaries it's a shame!....btw. I like the way you created different meanings and moods with the same words by rearranging them or letting them go....P.S.
"quark, quark" says the duck ( sorry, couldn't resist :-/)

CANVAS

Makes me a monster if you want to fight. And a myth if you want to seduce me. Ahead is the end. And follow what you want let go. Shadows always left in the sun. You want see me shine. But can make me blind. And don't look no explanation. Do not expect inspiration, no one. Men from around the world, draw wings for flying. And make company to big dreams again. Fall down old walls. Build new ideals. And let be the melody to be the new weapon of you. And what can animate you can poison me. When trying to sleep and you can not close your eyes, Try to hear the cries of those who dream.

I can't get over the fact that you grasp (and craft) this better than anyone else I know. That should be frustrating but instead feels strangely comforting and fitting. It makes me want to stand up and stand tall without caring whether or not anyone will listen. How weird is that? ..
