Hi all!

Tickets for my new show in Melbourne, "Facing The Music", which is running at The Butterfly Club from 25-28 June are on sale now at www.thebutterflyclub.com

These shows are the high points of my year - and I can't wait to be back in Melbourne to play again.  Details below!

FACING THE MUSIC is a darkly comical and shameless self-referential look at what it takes to 'make it' in the music biz. With FACING THE MUSIC, Jacob is taking his greatest step into the world of cabaret to date, playing the struggling / eternally insecure and self-questioning artist - at once desperate to please, jaded, reflective and, at times, hysterical (it's not much of a stretch).

Deeper still, FACING THE MUSIC is about the dynamic and complex exchange between artist and audience; the magic that happens when the two are in perfect harmony ... and the disasters that transpire when they don't.

Described by The Age as a 'pathological chronicler of the human condition', Diefenbach's androgynous voice and unconventional brand of cabaret is truly unique and touches on themes of identity, sexuality and the many and varied masks we wear in day-to-day life.

Accompanied by the incredible cellist, Helena Redmond.
