I am delighted to say that these shows WON"T be solo. I will be joined by my right-hand man for the past few years, the brilliant Alan Cook. A stunning musician who, as many of you know, who have seen Alan with me before, plays pedal steel guitar, mandolin, banjo and dobro.
And, for 4 shows only, Alan and I will be joined by the equally talented, yet even slightly more handsome, Rob Van Duren. Rob will be present and correct, with bass and guitar in hand, at Horst, Hengelo, St. Joosland, and Muenster.
There are currently 2 new albums in the pipeline. The country duets album, My Darling Clementine, recorded with the 'golden voiced' Lou Dalgleish, and a solo album of Protest Songs (some old, some new), but I am afraid neither of these albums will be out in time for this tour. However, songs from both of these new projects will be show-cased during the tour, and we fully expect both to released by January.
Meanwhile, those of you yet to buy a copy of the current live album Crawling Through The USA, what are you waiting for.......? The press have been very kind about it, so please check it out. You can order it via the web site, or, get a signed copy at one of the upcoming shows. Check out the video too...
