Parish Notices, October 2nd 2008 Dear All
Three excellent pieces of news.
1. The Triple Tree (Tony Wakeford & Andrew King)
Ghosts

At long last Ghosts, by The Triple Tree (see:http://www.myspace.com/thetripletree) is available, courtesy of Cold Spring records. I'm re-listening to it now on my headphones, & I have to say, it is a very, very good album, and a worthy tribute to the work of M. R. James.
Join Dr Wakeford and the Rev. King as they search for the Three Crowns, attempt to Cast the Runes, purchase The Mezzotint, follow Mr Abney's "remarkable enlightenment" in Lost Hearts, and join Count Magnus on the "Black Crusade"!
Track listing:
I. Ghosts – Prologue
II. Three Crowns
III. The Stalls
IV. The Mezzotint
V. Mrs. Mothersole
VI. The Ash Tree
VII. The Malice of Inanimate Objects
VIII. There was a Man Dwelt by a Churchyard
IX. Lost Hearts
X. Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You
XI. Black Crusade
XII. Casting The Runes
XII. The Ghosts of England
The CD comes in a digipack with a 16 page lyric booklet that is graced by sundrie delightful photographs of our own good selves.
Copies cost £10 inclusive of postage & packing within Europe, and are available directly from me via Paypal (Paypal email: andrewstewartking@hotmail.co.uk). NB please add + £1 per CD for postage outside Europe, thank you.
2. The Amfortas Wound

My 1999-2003 Magnum opus has been repressed by Athanor and is once again in catalogue. Heavily influenced by traditional British sources, but also experimental and challenging, it is one of the most important neo-folk (or new traditionalist) albums recorded.
Again, copies cost £10, inclusive of postage & packing within Europe, + £1 per CD for postage outside Europe (payment to the same Paypal account as given above, thank you).
3. The Kraken
I am delighted to announce that Dais Records [see: http://www.daisrecords.com/index2.htm] will be issuing a vinyl release [prob. a 7"] of a further collaboration between myself and Brown Sierra, entitled The Kraken
So far the details are as following:
Side A) Andrew King & Brown Sierra: The Kraken [3:06]: 19th Century Actor-Manager Electronic Antediluvian Extravaganza.
Side B) Andrew King: The Death of Nelson [7:42]: Ultra Authentic (& slow) traditional song, with Rule Britannia chorus and Historic clock accompaniment!
But who knows what form it might finally take!
I'm actually quite excited by all of this at the moment!
Best
Andrew
PS Don't forget that Sol Invictus are performing this Saturday [4th] at The Underworld, Camden Town
