At times, even though I am a very compassionate human, I am conflicted by situations such as what presents itself with this boycott so we all know how important hispanics, and presumably, illegals are in the economic picture of our community.
I don't know that I like illegals pushing their weight around, but it has caused me to question why they have to be illegals. What is it that makes them any worse than any other people that have poured into this country looking for a better life? Why have we made it so they cannot naturalize if they are willing to work instead of being on welfare? As much as some people argue that they are taking jobs from other Americans, I have to point out, there are many, many people who refuse to go look for work, because they are so well supported by the rest of the people who work.
I think we should be more interested in the Americans who sit on their asses all day with their hands out, than those illegals, who actually had a job they stayed home from to boycott. And by interested, I do not mean, what more can we do for those folks, I mean, what can we do so they will wake up and start pulling their fair share?
Anyway, don't want to overdo it. Tell me what you think.
