The music behind this song takes strong influence from 80s tracks such as Separate Ways by Journey, Saber Rider guitar solo, Ninja Gaiden 2  video game background music.

I also took inspiration from the riff in Take Your Hands Off My Woman by The Darkness for the buildup towards chorus. A little here and there from Athlete's Tokyo and definitely some Daft Punk.

I was also going crazy abusing experimenting with my new found favourite tool, the vocoder!

Technical parts aside, Poison is pretty much self explanatory. The 2nd verse onward is about superficialism in Art, how you lose yourself to make a living. Daymn sounds like whoring out...

Lastly, The 2nd part of the chorus is a quote from Roy in BladeRunner.
