new song, you may have heard it before, BUT NOT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! whoooooo let's blow minds (but not really).  backing vocals by my new roommate, whatta trooper.

i've been moving this past month but have also been crazy lazy with recording.  but i really only have one thing left to do before the album's done, maybe i'll just not do it and "release" it anyways, i'm pretty pleased with how it is now.  we'll see.

i've started a blog for my recordings, it's not much on the eyes but you'll hear a lot of half baked ideas and things that aren't quite songs yet on it: ihateyourartschool.tumblr.com.  Tumblr is way better than myspace, no advertising, no bullshit, you can subscribe to it and get linked from your google reader or whatever.  there's no commenting or tracking stuff for it though, so this myspace will stay up for more finished song type stuff.  it's just better for me to upload stuff there and listen to it at work and try and decide whether or not i like it (WHICH I ALWAYS FUCKING DO!)

celine dion (myspace.com/xxxcelinedion2013) has a bunch of shows coming up, and we're still working on our second album, some of which you'll hear on the aforementioned tumblr page.  i'm just as curious about how it will sound as i am proud.  what work we've done so far is really great but i have to admit i have been slacking big time on it (who's surprised?)  murphy has been killin it though, lot of really weird stuff on this one, if you got a copy of the last one then 1) lucky you and 2) expect more left-field stuff from this one.  oh also i think we're gonna record a punk record, maybe next weekend?

what else can i write to convince myself that the reason i still haven't done my taxes is because i'm really busy (REALLY BUSY) and not just fuckin' lazy...i submitted some writing for a local award by intersection of the arts, my writing is about as good as my music in that it's sloppy and dramatic but creative and well-intentioned.  you can read some of it at ihateyourartschool.blogspot.com, in between my whiny gripes about being lonely and nobody smiling enough any more.

eeeee my stomach is rumbling!  what did i eat?????

music is totally amazing all over, there are so many great releases out for all tastes, keep your ears open and your hearts bleeding.
