Not sure if you ever listened to Prairie Home Companion on public radio (you don't seem like the type of person who would), but it's been a favorite of my Aunt Joyce for years. The most anticipated part of the radio show would be the news from the fictitious place of Lake Wobegon in Minnesota (hell, I don't even know much about it as I thought it was Wisconsin till I looked it up on Wikepedia). Well, I need to have my own show with news from the trailer park. You should hear of Clarence's latest exploits. One of his buddies called Clarence and told him he saw a white squirrel. So Clarence grabbed his shot gun, and the shells he left in my JEEP and headed for his friend's house. Well, the squirrel, not wanting to die, moved on down a few houses. So Clarence pursued, and had to shoot the critter twice, even with neighbor's looking on. They were all amazed nobody called the law, but Clarence didn't hang around to wait for the law, but hurried home with his prize. That's not too far out of the ordinary, but he brought it to church tonight and had to show everybody. He was telling one camo clad parishioner that he never saw a squirrel that color. I told them both I never seen anybody bring a dead squirrel to church.  Ah shoot, I ought to blog this. LOL. Even though I got a couple shots, none of them are really good enough for posting.

Actually I don't remember much reaction from the little old ladies, but one of the fellas ran it into the nursery to show the little girls, and they screamed and ran. One came back though and wanted to know what it was.

Clarence said he never saw a squirrel this color. I said I never saw a dead squirrel in church.
