Well another Winterveil will be upon us soon enough. I have long since left Symphony of the Night. Too many friends had gone and the core of the guild left. Since then I have joined Onattie's guild Eternal Strength. I've become the priest captain and my main responsibility involves helping our lower level priests level up. Showing them tactics and making sure they don't level up holy mainly. Because leveling holy is painful at best. Yes you can do it but do you really want to? Things are for once looking up for priests. No new nerfs came with the patch and now everyone has fear ward. They nerfed fear ward heavily but that was to be expected. Lots of changes have happened since my last Blog. I've become friendly with the Bloodsail Buccaneers, started up a few new alts, completed my frozen shadoweave set, and maxed out all my professions including the secondary ones.
An interesting thing happened to me while I was on Damita. I was finishing up a quest chain that involved planting a pole in the middle of an Alliance town. I did it and was immediately attacked by a human warrior. Free honor points really. I returned to my corpse and was surprised to find out it wasn't camped. At least I thought it wasn't camped. As I ran off to the nearest Horde town where I could wait out my flag in peace I was attacked by a wolf. Okay. Not a problem. Go Talutah and a few shots of my bow. Oh $%. There's the alliance guy who killed me and he brought a friend. What? I wasn't easy enough to kill the first time. Immediately attacked. I dismiss my pet and resign myself to another corpse run. I then go from near death to full life as two Horde members seeing me getting ganked ran over to help. Needless to say with the reinforcements we won. I really have to wonder on this a bit. I was ready to run back to my body. I didn't even put up a fight. If it hadn't have been for those two characters I would probably have been camped all the way back to the Horde town. I can't say I've ever seen Alliance characters give up thier safety to help another member. I keep hearing over and over again that the Horde is different from the Alliance, even on the non RP servers. It's true. For some reason there is a fellowship among the Horde. We look out for each other and lend aid when we can. I've joked that it has to do with the lore. Everyone is out to kill our races. If we don't stand together, we'll all die. I can't explain how or if the lore actually affects the people who choose to be Horde or if something else is at work.
