Johnny B. and The Gravediggers are back!!!! Well at least we hope so. After a slow start to the season it was looking as though one of the region’s favorite rockers may be forced to sit on the sidelines this Summer. “We’ve had five bars close in the last several months,” Johnny B said of the current economic climate. Though alcohol consumption in the state is at an all time high it seems that venues throughout the state, and the country, are heading for all time lows as far as sales and attendance. Recent closures have been devastating to the local scene. But have no fear JBTG fans. The trio heads back out onto the live circuit in this Fall to make appearances at some of their favorite haunts. On August 7th Johnny B returns to the Tumbleweed in Dayton. The venue had been closed for some time after a major fire earlier this year. September 26th and October 24th finds the band returning to Sprinboro, Ohio’s The Springs downtown. On October 10th the band makes an appearance at one of the most visited attractions in the tri-state-Land of Illusion. The Halloween themed amusement park draws amazing crowds throughout the Fall. On October 31st Johnny B. and The Gravediggers perform their annual Gravediggers Ball. Welcome back fellas, we can’t wait to see you again.
