First of all, thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was a great 25th. The shows I played last week were a matter of opposites. The Q show which I recorded was alright. Not fantastic. No sparks or magic...probably due to children being in the audience. At least I know my mic is capable of recording a great quality set.

Friday's show at Lucky Dog ripped my legs off and clubbed me over the head.

I started the night off, but for once, that was to my advantage. A bunch of people showed up. The place was dead silent for the set. No strings were broken. A new sound-hole pick-up gave me a better quality sound and I was able to rock without worrying about keeping the guitar near a mic. End result was genuine enjoyment in the audience and on my part. Awesome time. I'll be heading back to Lucky Dog once a month, if things work out right.

Humanwine, the band I opened for Friday, has asked me to open up for them at their CD release. They are a fantastic DIY Band with their own label and a strong fan-base. Awesome performance from them straight up until almost 2am.

I may be heading back to Fitchburg State College for a few shows over the next couple months.

Then there's The Q - back to the bi-weekly series!

Too much information? Too bad! read it again! I'll see you at a show real soon.
