It has been quite some time.
Here's an update on life in 2009 thus far:

-I now have a job working at the bookstore at my school. I am very excited about this. Not only is it convenient, but I'll get a pretty good discount on a lot of stuff.

-I will be cutting my hair in two days. After 3 years of growing it out, I'm chopping it off again and I couldn't be more excited. It is definitely time for a change.

-I am a proud auntie! As of May 8, 2009 my bestest friend in the world had a little baby girl. Ivy Rose. I am such a proud aunt! She is gorgeous!

-My boyfriend and I are celebrating our one year anniversary on July 17th. This has been a difficult year, but extremely happy. He has helped me make it through a ton of trials this year and I don't know how I would have made it without him. So happy that he is here with me and that he puts up with me. We are very much in love and couldn't be happier!

-I have 4 classes left in this Fall semester and then student teaching in the Spring. I have successfully passed all of my state tests (CBEST, CSET, RICA)--on the first try!!-- and I will be graduating in the Spring. That's right...just one year left and then I'll be teaching your kids!!!

-Hoping to finish my tat in the next few months...and get another one. :d

I'm definitely ready for the future. Lots has happened and lots will be happening. I am trying to relax and just let things happen. It's hard, but it's something I'm working on.
