I had all these great plans for blogs.  I even wrote several of those blogs, but stilll I held back when it came to actually posting them.  It seems like a blog post always takes more time and energy than I figure at first.  And so I tread lightly.  You see, my life's been busy.  My time living here comes to an end as I finally return to Seattle.  A long strange trip it's been.

Right at the moment when I thought I would blog heavily, I instead took a step back from MySpace.  Meanwhile I've also been terrible about posting comments on all the blogs I used to read regularly.  So sorry to any of you I've seemingly ignored.  To quote the governator, "I'll Be Back."

Tomorrow morning I must pack the computer and go into that scary place called "offline."

I'll see you on the other side.

AH YES,
The Old Man and the Sea, delightful little book indeed.  I also love some of Steinbeck's  little gems such as Tortilla Flat, Cannery Row to name a few.  Good luck in Grungeville of which I have never had the privilege of seeing.  I have my sights set on Copenhagen and Berlin though and perhaps someday the Rainy burg as well.  Go in peace my son..........................

Islands in the Stream is the only thing I have every read other than Old Man and the Sea by Ernest though.  Imagine making it to my ripe old age and never reading any of his more famous tomes.
Perhaps I will drop in on you someday Seattle Slew;-)

Miss you terribly.

I will expect flowers for comments now that you are a gardener.

Or should I expect something more sexy, a la Lady Chatterley? ;)

Love you, dear-
